Eastern State Penitentiary Exploration @ Eastern State Penn: Philadelphia, PA
After setting off a few sparklers and creating seven foot long wizard sticks for the 4th of July, Catastrophe and I decided to head over to Eastern State Penitentiary. If you've seen any bits about this
prison on television, you know it's one of the most haunted places in the world. So of course, we had to go and check it out for ourselves. Sadly, we didn't see any ghosts. Grr! And we weren't allowed in
the two cell blocks we really wanted to roam around. But the prison was definitely intense and full of history. Al Capone's cell was preserved well but most of the building, originally constructed in the 1800s,
was slowly corroding and crumbling back into the earth. We may have to go
back in October, when they open up Cell Block 8 & 12 and let you visit the hauntings of Death Row at night and experience a real cold chill.
