CMJ School Night Showcase @ Bowery Hotel: New York, NY
The annual It's A School Night CMJ Showcase presented a mix of talents this year from Sweden, NY and LA with partners Sound Exchange at the stunning Bowery Hotel. From high energy headliners Big Data and Caveman to the captivating Ryn Weaver to the enticing sounds of Amason and James Davis, the evening was nothing short of eclectic entertainment. Of course, run-ins with Andrew Andrew, Eldridge, Nass and Chris Douridas always add to the shenanigans along with surprise visits from Moby. Downfall - the pseudo chicken sandwich from Whole Foods mislabeled as Asian Chicken Wrap. I knew I should've brought my own burrito.
