Woke up this morning to Paradise City and then while getting my eyeballs to actually open and function saw this New Radio throwback mix from one of my favorites – Avalon Clare. Not only is she an amazing artist, strong minded and riveting bad ass chick, but she also completely owns it when comes to her knowledge of riot grrrls, female fronted artists and curating a unique dance party vibe stemming from her passions. So naturally, I’m pretty stoked to see she recorded her live set the other night as a tribute to our old weekly Thursday jam; New Radio.
