HELLA HOLY! GHOST

Philly music fans know that the Dolphin has the tendency of bringing some of your favorite artists in to play the soundtrack to your weekend with their record collection. Last Saturday, Holy Ghost! hailing from NYC came to play a sweaty, packed house where dancing was required just to make it through the crowd to the bar. As the wall lights flashed (can we please get some on the floor though?) and fog rose from the ground, Holy Ghost! proved the depth of his record collection, mixing disco, bass-heavy instrumentals, classics from Prince and Madonna, and new favorites from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Every single person was drenched in sweat and dancing until the lights came on, and I have to say I am beyond excited to repeat it this Saturday when Goldroom takes the podium.
