Before the photos of Ellei J. aka Shadowscene took precedence in nightlife, her focus was mainly in underground punk shows, late night alleys and on the streets of various cities. In the style of her biggest influences Robert Frank, Lewis Hine and Andres Kertesz, these images are film based and photographed as documentary street candids. These particular selects have all been published and/or noted by various art zines and were a part of her very first art show as a young teen in Boston at La'Atittudes gallery; Newbury Street.
